National Traction Engine Trust Driver Training Weekend
Linkey took part in the NTET Driver Training Weekend at S.E.Davis of Astwood Bank over the weekend of May 7 & 8. Pictures by Malcolm Ranieri. You can see more of Malcolm's excellent steam & vintage photography here and here.
Nice post. Professional drivers must pass an initial Driver CPC test prior to being permitted to drive professionally and this must be renewed every five years to keep the Driver CPC current. So Driver CPC Training is must for drivers.
As out of control as some of these stunts may seem, of the decision, failed, rehearsed and performed with all the precautions taken. Timing can be critical and if a driver is a bit off the mark or just a few seconds after it is too late or early, can be devastating fire or worse, can hurt someone.
