Spotted in the July 9th edition of the Sale & Altrincham Advertiser: Chris aboard Linkey as the subjects of a prize-winning photograph in a local competition. This was presumably shot at one of Mike Priestner's ploughing weekends in Dunham, one of the years before the rubber tyres were fitted to the rear wheels.

Linkey will be tucked up at home, but on May 17 & 18 I'll be helping out at The Wirksworth Assessment Trial, taking in the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, Crich Tramway Museum & the Lime Kiln Inn. More details on Facebook.

Did you see this year's Old Glory calendar? Linkey appeared on the front cover, in a great photo by Malcolm Ranieri. The pic was taken on a road run from the SE Davis premises on 27 October 2012, and shows the engine & living van parked in front of the village green at Sambourne, Warwickshire. There are 12 more excellent steam shots inside.
